How does it work ?

Opening

When the software first opens, define the main folder path by clicking the folder icon with a + sign at the top of the left panel. Do this for both LYRICS and SONGS. That’s it; from now on, your folders will be ready every time the software opens unless you change them.

Repertoire Manegement

moplayLS works with a folder-based logic within a main folder. Collect your entire repertoire in one main folder. Name the folders by genre (like Pop, Rock, Jazz) or by the venues you perform at, and place the relevant lyrics inside. You can even create sub-folders within folders (e.g., Jazz, Bossa Nova, Bolero, Chillout folders inside a Slow folder).

How Do I Use It ?

1. Displays the lyrics in your repertoire.
2. By linking lyrics to your songs (T), the lyrics are displayed on the right panel while you Play/Pause/Continue your songs with the ‘SPACE’ key.
3. With Extra Sounds (S), you can add completely new expressions to your performance. You can use 5 extra sounds (like Applause, Whistle, Siren) all at once or one by one. You can load Extra Sounds as a set using the Add Folder button, or load an individual sound with the (+) sign in its own box.
4. The search feature (3) makes search results available in the left panel after you type your criteria and press ENTER.
5. With the filtering feature (i) shortcut, you can add extra information (Key, Rhythm, Tempo, and Group) to your lyrics or songs and filter based on this information using the ‘4’ shortcut.
6. With the automatic playback feature (P) shortcut, all songs in the selected folder are played automatically with a soft transition until the last song in the folder finishes. Optionally, you can disable the “Automatic Playback: Fade-Out/Fade-in (soft transition)” feature from the general section of the settings menu.
7. You can adjust the song’s volume level, EQ, and transpose level on the screen opened with the (V) key.
8. With song EQ (E), you can make Bass, Mid, and Treble adjustments for the song.
9. With the settings feature (Settings icon), you can change the left panel width, left-right panel font sizes, and text colors.
